"Although there's a little something for everyone -- sci-fi fans, martial artists, action-and-adventure enthusiasts, military buffs -- ultimately this time-travel novel is about philosophy, religion, and attempts to answer unanswerable questions about what causes what in the broad expanse of human history. I liked the book throughout, but I urge other readers not to draw conclusions until they get to the end: the story may not be going where you think it's going. Ultimately, I pay this work of fiction my highest compliment: It made me think, and will continue to make me think."

“A heavily researched, action-packed exploration of politics, religion, and time travel. The basic premise is thought provoking and the eventual conclusion is, quite frankly, profound. I found it well written, descriptive, and more character driven than most novels in this genre.”

"A Fiery Wind is the type of book that has a reader thinking about it long after being finished. Not only is it a story of adventure and time travel, but the plot premise is unique and exciting in all its endless possibilities of outcomes. A group of patriots are dedicated to preserving the American way of life; enough to embark on an uncertain journey through time in the belief that they can effect a change for the better in a world gone awry. The time travelers risk their lives for this belief and risk the chance that they will not return home.

"An excellent read! A fascinating theory and great story. I could not put down the last 100 pages. Your knowledge of that area of the world was amazing. I have been there and in the summer the weather is so bad that the tar on the road melts."

"I was impressed with the technical details of time travel and history, and even found myself compelled to do more research on the related history. Much of the book is based on the characters and their travels and adventures once they reach their [time] destination, and move forward through ancient lands and cultures. The time conundrum is always forefront in the characters’ and reader’s minds as they travel inexorably toward their ultimate goal and the surprising conclusion. As I read I could not help but think that this book would make an interesting movie…I look forward to reading more books by this author!"
